The aim of Spineworks is not only to eliminate pain, but also, to restore body’s balance and good function!

According to Reflexology, the reflex points on which the intervention takes place, are connected to specific organs and systems of our body!

Jason Manolidis is a graduate of Manchester Metropolitan University (UK), in the field of Physiotherapy, ‘Chiropractic & Osteopathy’ (Ackermann college Stockholm), Spineworks and Reflexology (N. H. S). He practices alternative treatments, with mild, relaxing and salutary manipulations.

Chiropractic & Osteopathy (Ackermann College, Stockholm), Spineworks and Reflexology, apart from pain relief, they aim at body harmonization as well. Their combination, actually, can be highly efficient, with remarkable results, providing overall wellness and relaxation!

In Jason Manolidis’ centre of alternative treatments in Athens, each specific case is being holistically approached, detecting the source of the problem. A personalized treatment is planned and implemented, always in search of the reason, why various symptoms are caused.

Chiropractic & Osteopathy (Ackermann college) mainly deals with spinal and musculoskeletal disorders and their consequences on the body through the nervous system. Special manipulations are performed to cope with musculoskeletal problems of mechanical nature. The efficiency of the method has rendered it as a top choice.

Chiropractic & Osteopathy (Ackermann) manipulations are painless and cause a great relief.

Adjustments and mobilizations, are manipulations which are being performed on the spine. They target to decompress and release the spinal nerves, allowing the body to have unhindered neural, hematic and lymphatic flow. What is more, the spine and the rest of the joints, regain their structural balance. During the adjustments, a ‘’crack’’ sound may be heard, but it is not something to worry about, as it is a rather soothing sensation..

This sense of comfort, necessary for the good function of the musculoskeletal system, is achieved by applying various techniques, which relax deeply the tired and tense muscles.

Consequently, the function of the body’s systems is improved and its self-healing mechanism is activated.

‘Chiropractic & Osteopathy’ of the Swedish college Ackermann (Stockholm), is the only method, that combines effectively techniques from chiropractic and osteopathy. Its main aims are: confrontation and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal disorders and restoration of the joints’ range of motion In addition, it contributes to a well-balanced function of the whole body. For decades now, healthcare professionals, such as physiotherapists and doctors, have been trained in this method.

As a Physiotherapy graduate (Manchester Metropolitan university, UK), Jason Manolidis has been trained and certified in the ‘Chiropractic & Osteopathy’ method of the Swedish college (Ackermann College Stockholm).

He practises Chiropractic & Osteopathy, Spineworks Therapy and Reflexology in his Centre of Alternative Treatments, which is located in Ampelokipi, Athens at 18 kifisias Ave.

Spineworks therapy is a method, which first appeared in England during the 80s and since then has become popular worldwide, due to its effectivity against musculoskeletal disorders. Its main focus is on the spine, from the skull down to the pelvis and expands to the whole body.

With its special mild manipulations, tense and tired muscles and also muscles which involve in the spine and joints’ hypomobility, come to a deep relaxation. Furthermore, other techniques are performed as well on the spine and the rest of the joints.

Spineworks treatment approach, gives the body the opportunity to regain its equilibrium and the natural structure of the spine and joints is restored. These personalized manipulations activate and balance the nervous system and improve lymphatic and hematic flow.

Reflexology, on the other hand, deals with dysfunctions of the whole body and its systems, either they cause pain or not, by applying special pressures on the feet and hands and on reflex spots of the body. In this way, their nerve endings are triggered and the self-healing mechanisms of the body get activated.

Chiropractic & Osteopathy, Spineworks and Reflexology, either separately or combined together, are approaches beneficial for the whole body, not only by preventing and fighting symptoms, like pain, but also by contributing to the whole body’s good function!

Relation of our body organs and systems with the spine.

All of our body neurons which innervate our muscles and organs, travel through the spine. Any obstruction of the spinal neurons from a vertebral pressure, hinders neural impulses to the correspondent organs, which are innervated from a specific spinal region,

causing consequences upon our system.

Chiropractic & Osteopathy (Ackermann) and Spineworks have special manipulations, which contribute to eliminating muscle spasms and pain, while also releasing the spine and spinal nerves from potential pressures.

Thus, neural flow (neural impulses) is allowed freely towards the correspondent organs that each spine region influences. Consequently, all of our body’s organs and systems function naturally!

The combination of ‘Chiropractic & Osteopathy’, Spineworks and Reflexology achieves:

  • decompression of the spine and rest of the joints
  • mobility improvement
  • deep relaxation of the muscles
  • stimulation and balance of the nervous system (sympathetic, parasympathetic)
  • increase of body’s vital energy
  • improvement of blood flow system (better nourishment and oxygenation of muscles and organs)
  • better lymphatic function
  • detox of our body
  • good function, of all organs
  • reduction of stress and anxiety
  • confrontation of sleep disturbances
