BRIEF CURRICULUM VITAE

My name is Jason Manolidis. I was born and raised in Athens, where I currently work as an alternative therapist.

I hold a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, which is one of the most established universities worldwide in the field of Physiotherapy.

My studies in Physiotherapy and my practice in state-of-the-art clinics, helped me develop my critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills. Among my priorities is to keep up to date with the most recent scientific research data and attend seminars related to my studies.

Concerning my postgraduate interests, they centre around Chiropractic and Osteopathy. I have attended the program ‘Soft Chiropractic & Structural Osteopathy’, offered by Ackermann college (Stockholm, Sweden). Upon the successful completion of the courses, I received the corresponding certificate. The program is intended for healthcare professionals, such as, physiotherapists and doctors.

What makes the method of Ackermann college unique, is that it combines effectively techniques from Chiropractic and Osteopathy.

Furthermore, I have completed a four-year program of study in the school of Humanities and Alternative Therapies Natural Health Science (NHS), graduating from the departments of Spineworks Therapy and Reflexology. Moreover, in the same school, I attended a separate program of medical courses (anatomy, physiology, pathology).

Continuous learning and development are very important, therefore I regularly attend seminars related to my studies.

Regarding my experience, I have worked for several years in my father’s-Efstratios Manolidis- ‘Chiropractic and Osteopathic’ centre in Ampelokipi, Athens. He was one of the first Chiropracts and Osteopaths of Greece, who had come during the 70s, after having lived and studied in Australia.

I run a Centre of Alternative Treatments: Chiropractic & Osteopathy (Ackermann), Spineworks and Reflexology in the area of Ampelokipi, Athens. I provide personalized treatments, which meet the needs of the patients and aim at the optimal outcome.

Following my father’s footsteps, I work in the same Chiropractic & Osteopathic centre located at 18 Kifisias Ave., in Ampelokipi, Athens.
